Amazing Kennel!!
I don't know what kennel the guy below is speaking of, but I have been taking my dog and cat to the Westlake Pet Motel for years and they have been nothing but exemplary in service! The staff is the most knowledgeable and nicest group of people that really love what they do. I won't take my animals anywhere else. They have never not told me what my charges were going to be when I ask and never have they been something different than what they said it would be. And I refuse to believe that a vet would narrow down reaction flinches to this specific kennel...it just seems extremely far fetched. This is a place that really cares for their animal guests. And as an added bonus, when you pick up your pet, they give you a free soda! I highly recommend this kennel if you love your pet and want someone who loves them just as much to look after them.

Beware of this kennel.
Just recently brought my dog there for 2 days. Many complaints against this kennel. 1. They charged me $80 for a dog bath without ever telling me what the fees were. When I complained about it they just laughed at me. 2. When I picked up my dog, he was dehydrated. It was around 90deg, and my dog was slow and extremely thirsty when I picked him up. 3. When the man brought out my dog, he yelled and kicked at him. 4. I went to pet my dog, and he kept on flinching. I never hit him, and he has never done this. The vet told me he was probably hit at the kennel which gave the dog the flinch reflex when you go to pet him. I was beside myself, and i want to warn people about the behavior. I tried to speak with the owners, but they were very unruly towards me for no reason aside from me complaining. If anyone has problems with Westlake Pet Motel should call the Humane society at the first signs of animal abuse. I hope this helps. I love dogs, and I have a hard time thinking about the animals ...
